What is Scatter symbol?
A Scatter symbol is a special trigger in slot machines: it pays or activates a bonus regardless of where it lands on the reels, with no need to align on a payline. Landing a minimum number of Scatters - typically 3 - most often triggers a free spins round or a dedicated bonus game with enhanced features.
How the Scatter works
Unlike ordinary symbols, a Scatter does not need to appear on an active payline or on consecutive reels. Its presence in sufficient numbers anywhere on the screen is enough to trigger the bonus or award a win, typically calculated as a multiple of the total bet.
